MBTA Passes & Parking Permits

Spring Semester 2027

Boston College is pleased to offer its students the opportunity to purchase MBTA passes for the semester at an 11% discount. This program is ideal for members of the Boston College community who need to commute to and from campus often.聽Passes must be purchased for the entire semester in advance.

You may purchase discounted MBTA passes for the Spring 2027 semester beginning September 28, 2026. The deadline to purchase passes is聽January 8, 2027.聽These passes offer unlimited rides from February 1, 2027 to May 31, 2027. Listed below are the various passes available and their costs.聽Please consider your purchase carefully with the understanding that your purchase is final and that there can be no changes, cancellations, or refunds.

Full semester/LinkPass holders聽will be notified when their pass is ready for pick up in the Office of Student Service. For lost, malfunctioning, or stolen passes, contact the聽Office of Student Services聽by phone at (617) 552-3300 or (800) 294-0294聽or by email at studentservices@bc.edu.

Individual monthly passes (Zone Passes) must be picked up each month during the聽semester.聽Zone Pass Holders聽(only good one month at a time) will be notified, via email,聽when their pass is ready聽to pick up in the Office of Student Services.聽Zone Passes, unlike LinkPasses, are not replaceable if lost or damaged.

Boston College will accept payment by credit card only. Purchase passes here:聽.

Please make your decision and purchase carefully. Double check the routes you anticipate needing to travel to ensure that the pass you purchase allows for your intended route.聽There is absolutely no cancellation, refund, or changing pass types after a purchase is made. The MBTA does not allow changes.

All passes expire at the end of each semester. Do not add more funds to these passes; attempting to add more funds will result in their forfeiture.

Boat Pass鈥�$292.00 per month

  • All "Zone 1 through 5" services plus:
  • Commuter Boats:
    Hingham Ship Yard, Inner Harbor Ferries, Pemberton Point (Hull), Quincy Fore River Shipyard
  • The Boat pass is accepted for Zone 1A through Zone 5 on Commuter Rail.
  • Commuter Rail passes Zones 6 through 10 are accepted on the Boat.
