Graduate Student Senate and Student Organizations

The chief political organization for graduate students at Boston College is the Graduate Student Senate (GSS). Our Senate comprises representatives from many graduate student associations and the GSA鈥檚 three affinity groups: the Graduate Students of Color Association; the Graduate Pride Alliance; and the Graduate International Students Association. Together, the Senate cooperates on projects relevant to broad sections of the graduate student community, in addition to advocating for initiatives put forward by, or on behalf of, the graduate student body.

McKenna is a second-year student from Connecticut pursuing her Master鈥檚 in Social Work. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Providence College where she was a member of the Honors Program, President of the Women鈥檚 Club Basketball team, researcher in the Social Perception and Attitudes Lab, Writing Center Tutor, and more. McKenna loves reading, spending time with friends and family, and going to the beach.

Laura is in her first-year pursuing her Masters in Philosophy. Before coming to 天美传媒app, Laura received her B.A. in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Santa Clara University where she was involved in many on campus organizations. She has been involved in programming and event planning since high school and she loves bringing people together. Outside school, Laura enjoys exploring cities through their coffee shops, baking, hiking, and painting (when she has a free moment)!听

Hudson is a first-year Theology student from California at the Clough School of Theology and Ministry. A Tufts University graduate in Latin and Religious Studies, he is passionate about the intersection of faith, education, and leadership. As the Director of Finance for the GSA, Hudson is excited to strengthen graduate student life across Boston College鈥檚 schools and help build a vibrant community. Outside of academics, he enjoys hiking, spending time with loved ones, traveling, and listening to music.
