Emese Parker, M.S. 鈥�08, authored To Carry Wonder: A Memoir and Guide to Adventures in Pregnancy and Beyond (Larkwell Press, 2023).
Jennie Chin Hansen 鈥�70, H鈥�08, was awarded a UCSF Medal鈥攖he highest honor given by the University of California, San Francisco鈥攆or her work leading systemic change in senior health care. She was also named one of 12 鈥淪ages of Aging鈥� in the American Society on Aging鈥檚 Legacy Interviews series of leading experts in the field of gerontology.
Events
The end of CSON鈥檚 75th anniversary year was marked by a celebration with a keynote presentation by Dean Katherine E. Gregory and a panel discussion with Brianna Cheatham 鈥�22; Marsha Maurer, M.S. 鈥�90, Karen Jennings Mathis, M.S. 鈥�11, Ph.D. 鈥�16; and Rolando Perea 鈥�85.

Marsha Maurer, M.S. 鈥�90, a former senior vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, received CSON鈥檚 Dean Rita P. Kelleher Award.
