Beyond Oil: The Climate Costs of Fossil Wealth in the Middle East and Central Asia

Hanqin Tian, director of the Center for Earth System Science and Global Sustainability (CES3), is the corresponding author of the recently published article titled 鈥淕reenhouse Gas Budgets of Central and West Asia (2000鈥�2020): A Significant Net Source to the Atmosphere." The study produced the first comprehensive greenhouse gas assessment of 24 countries across the region.
