Create your own customized experience

Overview

Breath DIY isÌýa self-directed retreat, with deep roots in the Ignatian tradition. On thisÌýdo-it-yourself retreat, each participant will decide what they want to do, where they want to go, and how they are going to do it.Ìý

Guidelines

BreatheÌýDIYÌýwill start with an initial lunch gathering to meet other participants, and a final lunch gathering to share your experience. Between both gatherings, you will have the opportunity to craft your ideal, personalized half-day retreat and bring it to fruition. We will reimburse you for meals, supplies, or transportation costs you accrue that day.

What kind of a retreat? Well, that depends on you… Perhaps what you need is to disconnect, relax, and rest; orÌýconsciously look for a silent experience; or carve out extra time to reflect on a research project with which you are struggling. It is in your hands to determine what to do during that half day.
If you are intrigued, but at a loss for what to plan for yourself, we are here to help. After you register, we will provide a simple questionnaire to help you verbalize what you need and will be available to answer any questions.
