Micro-Academies

Deep Dives into Core Components of Leadership

Our Micro-Academies focus intensively on specific aspects of executive and educational leadership鈥攄eep dives on single components of leadership skills and knowledge that typically comprise 3鈥4 full- or half-day sessions throughout the school year.

Each program involves school leaders from a variety of sectors and incorporates application-based professional development and individualized coaching sessions with a Leadership Coach.

Participants include principals, assistant principals, deans of curriculum and instruction, and other school leaders from Massachusetts鈥 district, charter, Catholic, and independent schools. Participants can receive Professional Development Points (PDPs) towards licensure renewal at no cost through Boston College.

Micro-Academies also serve as a pipeline for participation in our flagship Fellowship program, which empowers school leaders to improve outcomes in under-resourced communities.

“ The Lynch Leadership Micro-Academy has been transformative to say the least! The program is of the highest quality, melding both instruction with real life application and individualized coaching with a Leadership Effectiveness Director. I know without a doubt that this program will not only make me a more effective school leader but that it will have a long term positive impact on my school. ”
