Cornerstone Seminar Program

For first-year students

The Cornerstone Seminar Program at Boston College offer first-year students unique courses for which the instructor in the course is also the academic advisor to the students in that course until they are assigned a major advising sometime in their sophomore year. Cornerstone consists of four groups of course:

• The Courage to Know
• First-year Topic Seminars
• First-year Writing Seminars
• Perspectives Advising Sections

Students may register for only one Cornerstone option.

Capstone Seminar Program

For seniors

The Capstone Seminar Program offers seminar courses that will invite our seniors to integrate the knowledge gained from their academic pursuits and varied co-curricular experiences with their intellectual, psychological, social,听and ethical growth.
